Merywen Classic uses ingredients chosen from the hills of Conwy and Denbighshire. Juniper led, there are also floral notes from handpicked heather and gorse, as well as earthy tones of coriander seed, liquorice and angelica. A smooth and flavoursome gin, suitable for sipping or pairing with your favourite tonic.
Pairs particularly well with Fever Tree Elderflower tonic, a slice of pink grapefruit and lots of ice – summer in a glass!

Welsh Bank Martini Recipe
60ml Merywen Dry
15ml Elderflower Liqueur (I used St Germain)
15ml Medd Dry Welsh mead (or substitute for Dry White wine)
7.5ml Extra Dry Vermouth
Shake all ingredients hard with plenty of ice and double strain into a coupe glass. Crisp, bone dry and delicious – try stopping at one!

Bara Brith Martini – Recipe
60ml Merywen Dry
15ml Triple Sec
40ml Freshly squeezed Orange juice
10ml Homemade Bara Brith Syrup (Cinnamon would work too)
Couple Dashes Orange Blossom water
Small handful Raisins
In a shaker muddle the raisins in the syrup gently, add the rest of the ingredients and shake well with ice. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
